Alex Calver’s Glitch imprint already has its own sound which is fairly well described by its name. Like this new teamup between Alex and Mike Andrews, it favours hard, galloping grooves, scrapy riffs, wanking voles and the odd hoover noise. The flip’s ‘Every Sound’ is weightier with raw riffage, submarine blips and a drop that fair bubbles upwards and onwards. The S.U.F. empire really is covering a lot of bases these days.
