Bohemian Yacht Club here welcome back Canadian producer Brian Johnson with a new EP that features two new tracks and a glut of remixes from Jamie Kidd and Andrea Rango.
Up first is Swag Show featuring the vocal talents of Geneva. This one is a writhing, sexual house tune with sleazy beats at a sleazy tempo. It features great, inventive production and really oozes out of the speakers in libidinous style. Label regular Jamie Kidd strips things back to a wavy, elastic deep house groove with sombre chords and spacious reflection while newcomer Andrea Rango decides to rework things into a much slicker framework. It’s an edgy tech track that will really engage those on the floor before Johnson offers up the melodic beauties of closer Stay A While. It’s romantic house music that really seeps into your heart and finishes off a tasty EP in some style.
