The 20th release from Streetwise is a robust, funky stormer with early 80s boogie synths, choppy guitar and huge drop. This is great but it’s the singer who made me drop my bacon sandwich. Linda Taylor first sprang to prominence in the boogie, explosion out of New York City, dropping such classics as ‘You And Me Just Started’. After her stab at solo stardom, Lindas was obviously content to become a top session singer, but this single gives her a welcome return to the spotlight. Her performance here sends shivers. If all that’s not enough, the Vigi and Nectarios remix dubs it up into a deep, hypnotic mantra with bottomless Slammy bass riffing. Strong stuff all round.
