Coldcut return with ‘Everything Is Under Control’, the first single to be lifted from their forthcoming album ‘Sound Mirrors’, due in January 2006. ‘Everything’, is a huge bombastic affair that sees Jon Spencer of Blues Explosion fame, work his fucked up drawl alongside Mike LLadd’spolitical rant, over old skool phat beats and cut ups. The Underdog aka Trevor Jackson supplies a jittery electro mix and Solid Groove turn in a sterling throbbing dub that goes completely off kilter halfway through. This is good stuff, Coldcut are back with a blast.
