This is a single from General Midi’s shiny new album on Distinctive and features the, ahem, distinct vocal stylings of the first lady of breaks orientated ragga toastiness, MC Chickaboo. This is definitely one of the highlights from the album and is irresistible thanks to its rolling ragga rhythms that keep pounding you throughout, not to mention the staccato bass that provides that all important, but necessary paradox, the solid-yet-wobbly bottom! The production is typically tight and chunky as you’d expect from the General and we reckon that this is probably Chickaboo’s finest outing yet. A strong single from a strong album.
