Vern’s old mate Stretch demonstrates what fun he has a resident at Playtime with a suitably crowd-stoking breaks monster. But he manages to add extra depth and atmosphere via percussion, shifting electronic wodges and cool string washes. Mike Monday’s remix is tougher, chunkier and more chaotic. The sexy breath is a nice touch and, as it stutters along its course, it becomes apparent that your in the presence of a thumping great breaks beast. That club sounds like fun.
