Major acid techno reunion afoot as RAW honcho Guy The Geezer hooks up again with D.A.V.E. The Drummer, thus rekindling a partnership which started nearly 20 years ago. After getting together on D.A.V.E.’s Hydraulix label, the favour is repaid with giant, ejaculating techno-knobs on. A monster would have been expected but this carries that special extra ingredient to hoist it to the forefront. After the hybrid of RAW rhythm thunder and Hydraulix extra texture is set up, in comes a contagious gospel soul chant which is used to pants-shredding effect on the drop. With Guy and Henry both obviously having a ball, it’s roof-raising tackle which could easily cross into the big clubs [if no-one told them who done it]. For the flip, Guy and Henry hop in a nice, refreshing bath of radioactive waste and tweak the plastic hippo’s bell-end.
