Precision Cuts were responsible for last year’s great ‘I Found Love’ collaboration with Vigi and Linda Taylor. The follow-up still boasts that crisp funk in the breaks which is accentuated by deep, Detroit-style swelling riffs and, female snippets and sploshes of acid. The textures are quite early 90s. The remix by Zero and Mr B goes for a tougher approach, with chunky riffs, that ‘giddy up’ vocal used hardcore fashion and succulent pieces of chicken sellotaped to the tunes’s udders. Precision Cuts are well worth keeping an eye on.
