With an impressive catalogue of hard-hitting releases clocked on the likes of Substeal Records, Black Vision, Dolma Red, Prospect Records, Eclipse Recordings and Black Nemesis Records over the past twelve months, Noemi Black now returns to her much-loved Technical Vibe imprint for her first full outing of 2021, as she unveils the stunning ‘Follow Your Dreams’ EP. We caught up with the German-based talent to discuss her label, plans for 2021 and more…
Hi Noemi and a very warm welcome to DMC World! How are you?
Hey! Thank you for the invitation. I’m good, thank you, trying to be optimistic according to the world’s situation.
First things first, please can you introduce yourself to our readers?
I’m a polish Techno DJ and producer. Professional, I’m making this for over 8 years. My music was released on multiple labels from all over the world. I’ve been played in many countries, mostly in Europe, but also in Lebanon or Egypt. My musical style I’ll describe as driven, straight-forward Techno.
How would you best describe your brand of Techno?
With the three words straight-forward, driving techno. From the beginning, I was excited by the heavy sounds. And so it stays till today.
Congratulations on your recent remix releases on Black Vision and Tell us more…
Thank you. It was a pleasure to work with guys from Black Vision. They delivered me a great original track and I tried to give the track my own expressive style. Heavy kicks, pounding bassline. I hope I’ve made it.
Let’s talk about your label Technical Vibe. What’s your creative vision for the imprint?
As I said, I’m in love with straight forward techno. I want Technical Vibe to become home for this kind of this music. I’m trying also to help young and talented producers to take their first steps in the music industry. I know how hard it’s to get with your music to some nice label if you don’t have a big name yet. If you are making some nice techno, I’m here for you 🙂
And what was the motivation behind setting it up?
The label has the same name, as my radio show. When I’ve started my radio show, I had the idea, to create something more than only a podcast series with this name. The first step was a radio show, second, Music Label. After releasing my Music on the other Labels, I’ve decided, that I also want to try this.
Do you have any releases upcoming that you’d like to share with us?
I’ve just signed two huge EPs for some really great labels. Unfortunately I can’t share the names with you yet. You have to follow me for more info. Soon everything will be official. I have also just released my two part ‘Follow Your Dreams’ EP on my Technical Vibe. I really hope you like it!
Do you get particularly involved in the creative direction when it comes to music videos, artwork, and content creation for the label?
Of course, I’m trying trying to get the final touch to all the covers or videos. I’m working with an incredible team, they already know what I’m expecting from them. We are understanding each other without words. All the content on social media comes from me. I love to stay in touch with fans. They have to feel on my pages like on their own pages.
When did you become a DJ and what were you doing before you decided to make a leap into the world of music?
As a young girl, I’ve spent every weekend in the clubs. But I didn’t find there that, what I was looking for. I’ve found it on my first big rave. It was the polish edition of the Mayday Festival. I was totally in love with the sound, with the heave bass. After this event, I’ve decided, that I also want to be a DJ. Before and in the early stage of my career, I was associated with the construction industry. I’m a construction technician and a spatial planning engineer.

What do you have coming up over the course of 2021? Any exciting projects or touring you can talk to us about?
I want to work on new music for sure. I also hope that the COVID Pandemic will pass by soon, and we will be able to realize all the plans for 2020, especially the South and North America Tournee which was canceled in 2020.
Any final words for our DMC World readers?
Stay safe, stay strong! I hope the whole madness will ends soon and we all will be able to rave again soon!
Thanks for your time Noemi and we wish you all the best for 2021!
Thank you! All the best to you too!
