This has almost too much going on in it, with its sleazy Prince-like vocal stylings, funkin’ guitar licks, hip-hop-lite shenanigans and early doors tweaking groove. Crucially though, it just gets away with it. Apparently the product of some young spunk from ‘down-under’, this oozes energy, and almost sounds like some over enthusiastic tyke in boardies bouncing around at the choicest antipodean after party. Remixing this little upstart is the chunky pairing of Rogue Element and Tom Real, who really are getting a name for putting together some of the chunkiest, most solid tracks around. There’s always a quality electro element to their productions which, combined with the pounding, relentless beat and some choice edits make for some of most ass-movingest sheeit out there. The remix is the one to go for here.
