Always making moves Scottish talent Calvin Logue lands on the iconic FFRR label with a relentless and techy vocal ear-worm. Already picking up plays from House giants Solardo and also new-face Hannah Laing on her recent Radio 1 Essential Mix, ‘Ready’ encompasses quirky synths, a future-minimal production style and some very clever gating, and editing of those catchy reverbed vox. A simple but effective club tool that is sure to find its way onto a whole myriad of playlists in the coming months. A tough track to pigeon-hole also, which is of course never a bad thing at all. Big signing for Mr Logue!
