Another slice of finely crafted audio-funk sonic machinery from Precision Cuts. There’s a reason he’s called that, you know. There’s a nice, controlled bit of piano trickery in the middle of ‘The Surge’, that really makes you want to hear it again and again. If only. ‘Sirens’ gets a bit techno in an uptight kind of way before going all Bushwacka! with a great bit of ‘bouncy-pipe+percussion+chunky break=contented dancefloor satisfaction’ action.
