NRK’s annual singles round-up has rarely sounded so good, and presents a portrait of a label in good musical health with some choice picks from the recent catalogue. Magik Johnson, Peace Division and Hipp-E dominate the selection with some downright funky house stuff, while Quentin Harris and Kerri Chandler contribute two mixes of the summery anthem ‘Let’s Be Young’ and the giant ‘Bar A Thym’ respectively. DJ Ralf caps an excellent release with a strong mix on CD2, showing just how much strength in depth NRK now here at their disposal.
