Before he was part of Hollywood’s elite, B-boys and girls knew Will Smith and his turntablelist partner Jeff Towns, as DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince, whobetween 1986-93 they released a half-dozen albums chock full of hits. The best now make up this retrospective and includes the I Dream Of Genie sampling ‘Girls Ain’t Nothing But Trouble’ and the Kool & The Gang inspired ‘Summer Time’, through to the chart-topping ‘Boom! Shake The Room’ – this is a party pleasing release from start-to-finish. While the inclusion of the breaks ‘n’ scratching ‘A Touch Of Jazz’, ‘Jazzy’s Groove’ and ‘The Magnificent Jazzy Jeff’ will kept old skoolers happy too.
