Can you believe it’s more than five years since Darren Emerson and Underworld parted company? Somehow it is, and in that time he’s taken the Underwater label from strength to strength, their annual summer compilation one of many highs. This time Magik Johnson steps up for second CD guest duties, and delivers a relatively subtle house mix that majors on his own productions but really gets going towards the end. Emerson, as always, steps up a gear with Onionz, Joel Mill and D.Ramirez contributing to a strong party set of energy filled house. They’re still in good health!
