Since Kickin’ decided to integrate soul and jazz in the house the results have been more than pleasing, and DJ Rico steps up once again with a smoothly delivered mix. The sultry opening duo of DJ Fresh and Q-Burns Abstract Message feature warm vocals from Ariane Carter and Lisa Shaw respectively, the latter given a sexy Spanish guitar in accompaniment. The mix then opens out to take in the jazzier organ tones of Marlon D’s ‘Love Is Key’, then fuller funk courtesy of the Groove Junkies, ending in style with the Balearic Soul mix of Kraak & Smaak’s ‘One Of These Days’, still sounding fresh. Hot weather material!
