Okay let’s face it Level 42 were to the ‘80s what the Lighthouse Family were to the ‘90s. Someone bought their records (they chart popularity could not be ffueledby record company “buying-in teams” alone) and yet no one owns up to buying them! Surprisingly then that Canada’s hottest dance export has decided to update L42’s top 10 UK pop hit from 1985. And yet it wworks… andvery well too. I’m not sure if this is an oldie revisited or a brand new re-recording – regardless the driving production makes this one interesting item. Dance producers take note: the Lighthouse Family’s “Lifted” has yet to be clubbed up… actually scrap that, we’re just not ready!
