It’s his label and the man has duly fired out a biggie which actually swings more in a filthy house direction. The lead cut plops a chunky electro-fied riff over this irresistible groove and lets it get blessed with some kind of operatic mermaid sample. It’s actually the flip’s ‘Misnomer’ which pushes all the right buttons with its flowing, snappy momentum, brass stabs and funky clavinet. Some orchestral touches also add to the classic party vibe. Strong whoopee material.
