This is one for a dirty South London Halloween breaks bash and no mistakin’. You wouldn’t want to be having a paranoid moment if this one came on, it could throw you over the edge with its tearing dirt, sinister vibes and ‘scary’ samples from zombie flick, ’28 Days Later’. Uncompromising to say the least. ‘Check The Sound’ is a slightly less heavy affair, (in the same way that Big Daddy is slightly less heavy than Giant Haystacks!) There’s a touch more urban funk and concrete synth soul, but don’t think this is a picnic; it’s a four course dinner of bass-rave.
