DANTON EEPROM
ONE THING LEADS TO ANOTHER
TSUBA

Every time I get a Tsuba twelve I seem to say that this is one escalating hotbed of electronic creativity. Expect the unexpected – and this is the furthest out they’ve gone yet as fast-rising Danton unfurls possibly their most hallucinogenic release to date. It’s dark and nasty with the man’s vocals coming on like Suicide’s Alan Vega over a radioactive backdrop of bleepy melodies – also recalling Suicide – eerie atmospherics and sinister padding. Woozy and weird, a feeling heightened on the instrumental. Added bonus is the Tigerskin micx which strips down to a dark old school house vamp with intestine-resonating results. Well worth checking for those in search of sonic thrills and melon-scrambling spills.
