Italian producer now based in Berlin, Marco Tonni takes a diversion from his emotional missives on Persona to create a very pleasant pair of meerkat-fondling ham-flickers. The title cut is sparse with funky bass, G-Funk melody and a kind of gulping hippo effect. ‘Potato Nose’ is a spaced and gnashing riposte to the Proclaimers’ irritating Comic Relief appendage anthem with dramatic sonic slashes. Lot of talent, soul and know-how about here.
