It’s hard not to fall in love with the Soul Jazz label.  Their commitment to uncompromising underground releases is reason enough to, but factor in that all the releases are damned near essential in terms of quality, and you realise Soul Jazz practically deserve a knighthood for services to the modern music.  This latest release is a limited sampler for the forthcoming Box Of Dub LP. Kode 9’s “Magnetic City” pulses and hums with a futuristic sheen that Philip K Dick might once have wrote about;  Digital Mystikz “I Wait” sees the guys experimenting even further with pure dub rhythms for some blissed out digitalism.  The full album release promises new material from Skream, Burial, Tayo, and many more.  The real sound of the suburbs – buy on sight.
