More funk from the purveyor of all things funky, Mr Jay Stewart, on the label that likes to dish out err, funk.. Let’s see how many times I can say funk in this review? Cowbells and quirky, computer vocal edits are the order of the day combined with squelchy ‘Plump’ style synth lines. Something to wiggle your ass to on a balmy summers night, not too full on but will do damage on the more funkier floors for sure. Did I mention it was damn funky? The flip has more of those squelchy, ‘squeezing a balloon’, ‘Plump’ noises and cut up James Brown vocal edits and did I mention this track also contained large amounts of err.. FUNK!
