This Defected affiliated label is nothing less than DJ Spen’s homage to great garage music in all its forms. The soulful vocal mix is solid but check the nifty dubs. Thommy & Spen’s Do That Sexy Dub is based around a funky flanged percussion that creates a great robotic, hypnotic feel. The pair’s Body Moves mix goes even further by nodding at Todd Terry with its ravey stab and repetitive use of the ‘Move Your Body’ sample, retro, jackin’ and yet fresh and well playable.
