Cadenza is the imprint started by Luciano and Serafim to give new talent a
space to run while giving their own nuclear developments a platform.
Listening to these two discs is compulsive, luxurious and often
melon-jolting, the Cadenza sound unravelling as a spectral, mischievous
dream sequence of shadowy pulserama, electronic suction grunts and
disembodied speech bites nudging through the sonic undergrowth like an acid
casuality with a condom on his head staggering into a deserted playground.
The Contemporary disc features Luciano weaving together names like Argenis
Brito, Petre Inspirescu, Pikaya, Digitaline along with his own insidious
tackle like ‘Tonerres’. The names who join him and Serafim on the Classics
disc include the mighty Lee Van Dowski & Quenum and Pier Bucci, completing a
fantastic picture of a towering operation.
