‘Rock The Disco’ might be the title but this compilation takes a while to
bring the rock to the dancefloor. In fact CD1 is more about the disco, with
some classy offerings from Lindstrom, Gregor Thresher and Booka Shade
against the more obvious Chicken Lips, Calvin Harris and Blondie v Edison.
CD2 is much more where it’s at, and Modeselektor, Armand Van Helden, Simian
Mobile Disco and the Justice remix of ZZT’s ‘Lower State Of Consciousness’
ensure a healthy level of hedonism. If you bought and liked the first in
this series, look no further!
