Something of a favourite on their live shows, “Flashback” is the final single to be taken from their “Unhuman” album, before they return to the studio for more electronic adventures. After the pseudo-industrial noise of the original, it’s T. Raumschmiere who gets to twist it inside out, keeping the stomp but adding a weirdly twisting, hyper-active bass riff and repeated breakbeats – it’s dark, heaving and seriously demented. Terrence Fixmer offers a slightly more conventional acidic refry, that’s probably the most ‘floor friendly’, whilst Franz & Shape cut-up “20 Volts Of Steel” with the old Hardfloor silverbox of tricks. Something for everyone.
