Another new Soma signing, this time Spanish producer Lopez who first emerged in 2006 on Minimise and got noticed by Slam who snarfed them up for their label. The title track is a propulsive minimal throb with plops, klangs and this odd gulping noise. ‘Haunted Chamber’ is a spooky rumbler shot with alien wobbles and wafting toxic gas, floor damage guaranteed. Best of the three is ‘What Is Spanish Dust’, a kind of stealth time bomb still shot with nastiness which suddenly bursts into big chords before returning to its spooked canter.
