A second collection of label highlights, previously-unreleased gems and things to come from the well-respected electronica imprint. Kicking off with the disjointed crawl and goat noises of ‘Nichiyoubi’ by Adolf Noise aka DJ Koze, the set proceeds through dissonant shimmers, NY-style deep house and rickety pulsings from names including Koss, Alex Actias, Glowing Glisses, Social Material and Tony Lionni. Lawrence provides two highlights; DJ Koze’s arresting mix of ‘Rabbit Tube’ and his typically-deep and enigmatic ‘Sweeping The Stars’. It all winds up with the splintering yelps and chattering lope of Minilogue’s ‘Ghost’, completing a further cementation of this great label’s gaining strength.
