In all honesty the Coast2Coast series has yet to put a foot wrong, and now it’s going deeper with Peace Division and Charles Webster, whose mix follows up in October. He’s got quite an act to live up to though, as this is seriously deep and moody stuff that unfolds gradually into a powerful mix. It also introduces a few lesser-heard names, and Sackrai in particular makes an impression with two fine tracks in ‘As If’ and ‘Close Behind’. In truth though it’s difficult to pick out one track as being a highlight, since the seamless mixing means each division is a strong link. With most of the mix offered in unmixed form on the second disc, there’s a chance to pick out a few favourites however – and Alex Attias’ ‘Brazilika’ emerges as the best of an admittedly brilliant bunch. Definitely one to invest in.
