Techno and dubstep collide as the London DJ-producers translate the aural mutation of their Lost Souls club onto waxc. ‘Big K’ belches eerie, jagged sonic flatulence over decayed breaks while ‘Light Sleeper’ plumbs a dark dubstep u-bend, rendered slow and low by Hotflush’s Scuba. Of particular interest is the remix of ‘Big K’ by Minus’ Gaiser, one of the most formidably pioneering producers around who injects his trademark minimal funk with inimitable edge.
