Despite nicking the title from a late 60s Blues Project album, the first release on My Favorite Robot’s label packs punch, underpants and a large tin of electronic curry as Toronto producer Andrew Vandemeer shows two sides: organic electro on ‘Modularity’ and deep hypno-tech on the aptly-titled ‘Minimal Rewards’. Good start.
