Soma’s guest series continues with an absolute titan from the bloke who’s already turned in storming remixes for the label [including Slam’s ‘Azure’]. In return, Stuart and Orde take ‘Can You Relate’ [originally released on Klap Klap], put their heads down, and do what they do like nobody else in full knowledge that it can only cause maximum carnage: full-pelt techno devastation with a ‘French Kiss’ momentum on the riff, great whooshy noises, sci-fi tones and huge drop, making the entry of that ‘what happened to the funk underground speech?’ all the more spectacular. Sheer Slam heaven, in other words. Steve Rachmad comes in on a darker, ghostlier tip with sirens and effects making for another killer. These two will be digital at first but, fear not, after Pt 2’s remixes from Anja Schneider and Joris Voorn they’ll all form a monstrous vinyl package. Stop it Soma, you’re killing me!
