When Modeselektor and Apparat got together, the resulting album as Moderat turned out to be a corker. Now they’ve highlighted this gorgeously-textured broken beat vocal outing as a single and, alongside the original, plant two superb remixes. Romania’s TRG pumps the beats with whale-scrotum bass and strips some of the melodies with the floor in mind. The reason it’sin techno is the brilliantly atmospheric Booka Shade treatment which builds hypnotic momentum with a web of gloopy, sighing loops, ever-changing percussion and liberal sprinklings of magic dust.
