The tackle emanating from San Francisco’s Bounce House and its Short Bus Kids proprietors over the last few months has tickled many a gerbil’s scrotum. For ‘Get Them Hands Up’ the pair take another unexpected detour by homaging 80s roots with a feast of funky fun using 808 percussion, rump-shaking bass and pronounced synth action. For the remix in comes Om Music’s Michael Tello and Deron Delgado of top house digital download site Stompy.com and Good Family Recordings, who take the ingredients and plunge them into a bleepy deep house pool. Great stuff.
