This highly anticipated LP is about to hit the stores and has it been worth the wait?.. In some ways drum & bass production has come on along way and most releases are of the same standard, so it come down a lot to content. As styles are ever merging SF has mixed up the selection to include not only his trademark d&b but also a breaks track that has the most infectious bassline and also a very oldskool house track that blurs the lines between Chicago rhythms and Bloc Party. Again the hype is high and sometimes this is a bad thing as you end up listening and think, What’s all the fuss about? But if you take it purely on its own merit what you have is some very fresh tracks like the massive Rock It and Timewarp alongside tracks with influences from Daft Punk and Moroder making this a perfect foundation for an artist that will have a real diversity within his musical career.
