It was this song that opened my eyes to dance music, when at the time I was playing drums in the band. Even though each part played with its own sense of rhythm, I was shocked at the level of perfection when it was united.

An exciting feeling when entering a melody from an exciting intro. This is so catchy and will remain in my ear for a long time.

 

3. YMO – Rydeen

I was shocked that such a cool song was made before I was born, and by people born in the same country as me. It is a song that does not fade away even after 40 years, and it still sounds fresh in its own way.

 

4. Ryuichi Sakamoto – Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence

This song creates a magnificent image while providing a nostalgic atmosphere. Also, for me, it is a song that expanded the possibilities of the piano melody.

 

5. Des’ree – You Gotta Be

There are a lot of remixes, but all are excellent. In addition, it is packed with a positive message, and it is a song which gives hope and spirit to the listener.

 

6. Tommy Vercetti – I Miss You

The track that reminded me of my passion for the sound of a piano. It is a song that where dance music and the sound of the piano matched the best.

 

7. Krystal Klear – Neutron Dance

Even if it is likely to be a poor song if you make a mistake, it is a wonderful song with an exquisite sense of balance. Although it is likely to become an old-fashioned song, this song has a newness that transcends the oldness.

This record is very moody, and the keyboard phrase and the beautiful singing voice match very well.

Legendary and pioneering New York house label King Street Sounds is back with another floor moving single, this time from Japan based artist Cray Pray, with a top remix from The Cube Guys. Cray Pray is a pianist, violin player and drummer who excels at all house styles. He is huge in Japan and all round Asia and has released on the likes of Pornstar Records. Here he links with esteemed vocalist Dawn Tallman for a standout slice of house music. The release opens with a killer remix from Italian DJ and production duo The Cube Guys, who are often appear in the top end of the charts with their high energy tracks, picking up support from the likes of Pete Tong and Bob Sinclair. The pair deliver a heavy hitting peak time remix sure to rock dance floors internationally with plenty of swirling breakdowns and hip swinging claps.
