Back To Mine with Flexi Cuts (Relative)

1. Relative – Soul Searching (Flexi Cuts01)

The first track i published on vinyl, and still my favourite… I use this one like a business music card.

2. William Devaugh – Be Thankful For What You Got

I regularly play this gorgeous track as an aperitif, at beach parties, local outskirts, small places … for the opening or the closing … and dancers are always satisfied!

3. Crazy P – Never Gonna Reach Me

I love this band, their live approach is formidable and their records are marvellous! Jazz and funk and disco and house for fine ears!

Crazy P - Never Gonna Reach Me (Hot Toddy Remix)

4. Todd Terje – Snooze For Love

Absolutely the tracks I use most for closing moments. A masterpiece.

Todd Terje - Snooze 4 Love - Running Back RBCR-78

5. Zanzibar Chanel – Killer

I don’t know if this Australian duo is still making music, but I know that this record is always in my bag. A hypnotic dance-floor bomb!

Zanzibar Chanel - Killer

6. Kink – Express

I’ve been a huge fan of KiNK since the beginning…  I think that his way of making music and performing it live is truly unique. I have almost all his releases … this is one those …  and i jealously guard it! It’s a trip!

7. Crystal Waters – Gipsy Woman (She’s Homeless)

A house track anthem, the roland drums, the m1 organ, the 4/4 breaks and then the soul vocals on the top. And the people dancing and singing… just beautiful!

CRYSTAL WATERS - Gypsy Woman (She's Homeless) (Basement Boys '' Strip To The Bone'' Mix)

8. Guru Featuring Dee C. Lee — No Time To Play

I discovered my “acid jazz inspiration digging at Flexi’s second-had section. I lost myself among many quality records that blended jazz and hip-hop and house in the mid 1990s.

9. Massive Attack – Protection

I guess it’s damn right to put this one in the playlist. This is one of my favorite Massive Attack songs, perhaps because it’s sang by Tracey Thorn?

Massive Attack - Protection

10. Lucio Dalla – Washington

One of my favorite Italian songs, I think that the musical search by some “old – classic” Italian songwriters is unreachable even today. A true school of music and life.
