Back To Mine with Sue Avenue

Guru – Feel the Music

One of those timeless tracks by the unmatchable Guru (RIP). ‘Times like this make me clench my fist, then I’m caught up in the midst of this musical bliss.’

Rob Mehl – House on the rock

I actually discovered this one by a friend of mine playing it at my place during a late night listening session. It was on a double vinyl compilation by Psychemagik called ‘Magik Sunrise’. Instant love.

Compro Oro – Greetings From The Colony

A project by Ghent based vibraphone player Wim Segers who I’m working with on a regular basis for my own tracks. This is a track of their latest record ‘Bombarda’ which came out April ’17. Put on the heater and grab a rum.

Marc Moulin – Into The Dark

Can’t leave Marc Moulin out of this list. Classic track by one of the great pioneers (RIP).

Raw Instinct – De La Bass

The one and only.

Maxim Lany – Going Smooth

I got the vinyl from Maxime when I invited him to play at a club night in Ghent back in 2015. Those nights were 10 days in a row and this track brought peace to my head when coming home at 7/8 in the morning. Classic house cut, thanks man.

DJ Spinna – Ladbroke Groove

This groove is sick. And I’m in love with that solo. A classic I can keep on listening to over and over again.

PLK – Go (feat. Frisy)

I discovered this one on an awesome radio station in Paris – of which I unfortunately forgot the name – while driving back to Belgium with my girl last summer. Windows open, sunshine in.

Mathew Jonson – Marionette

Just a lovely trip.

De Groote Faes Duo – Uitzicht

Beautiful one to close off the night and dream away.
