CHRIS AND COSEY: SYNAESTHESIA
C&C always had a great influence on my musical education, especially the album ‘Techno Primitiv’. The discovery of their discography is like the opening of Pandora’s box. Their creativity, independence and perseverance had a big impact on me as well as the mixture of synth, sex, art and sound experimentations. Their 2015 performance in Berghain was absolutely breathtaking.
JACNO: TRIANGLE
Very elegant and nonchalant, Triangle is a melancholic, geometric inspiring instrumental whose DIY side I appreciate a lot (Jacno plays all the instruments: Korg MS20, Arp and Moog) It´s also an excellent introduction to the French electronic sound of the 80´s.
FRANCOIS DE ROUBAIX: LA MER EST GRANDE
My favourite score composer, I grew up with his DIY synth soundtracks from so many cult films and cartoons. He found inspiration during long scuba dives which were fatal to him. Every time I dive, I think of him, as I am always very inspired by the Drexcyan underwater world.

This was one of my lockdown soundtrack, as I spent a lot of time at home taking care of my plants, in Moogy music, naturally. Play this to your plants!
KLF: THE STADIUM HOUSE TRILOGY
My formative years! I was shocked the first time I heard one of their tracks on the radio and was immediately transported to another dimension, probably the future. They introduced me to clubs and raves. I also love how KLF always puts everyone and every generations in agreement.

I recently covered ´Hot on the heels of Love´ for a benefit compilation to help and support Genesis P-Orridge and their battle/treatment and expenses against Leukemia. R.I.P. Genesis.

This is a timeless acid classic taking you on a trip! The context is completely different from acid´s Chicago Roots: the 303 is spacious, clean and ethereal. One of the most gorgeous track from Laurent Garnier & co. I have ended so many djsets with it!

Electrosexual – Free Yourself (Rock Machine Records
Berlin based Electrosexual returns on the Rock Machine imprint with a superb new single ‘Free Yourself’ backed with a remix from Shero.
Originally hailing from Toulouse in France, Electrosexual has been a mainstay of Berlin’s underground club scene for the last decade and has released a raft of music, predominantly on his own Rock Machine label. Taking in elements of house, techno, disco, electro and more, his music defies classification and has been a continuously evolving sonic experiment which has delighted clubs and music lovers alike.
2020’s ‘Watch Me Lakshmi’ saw the artist journey into downtempo territory, now Electrosexual picks up the pace with the wonderful ‘Free Yourself. The package opens with the full length ‘version de nuit’, a rolling, arpeggiated wonder that draws together big synth stabs, swirling vocal snippets and a relentless rhythm section to create an instant electro/Italo gem. The remix is provided by fellow Berliner and KlubKid Records boss, Shero who strips things back and turns in a darker house number that’s bores deep into your soul. To complete the offering there is a cut back radio edit for those that need it. This is another delightful offering from Electrosexual and his ever excellent Rock Machine Records.
