1. Depeche Mode – See You
We have a past quite wide with Depeche Mode, we followed them on a variety of their albums, between electronics and roughness, sophistication and sexiness that their music transmits. Without doubt one of the most influential bands in the recent decades in the era of pop and pioneers in electronica with a new innovated sound which not stops to amaze.

2. Chris Carter – Beat
Chris Carter, an English musician with the album ‘The space between’ that released in 1980, the album was definitely an inspiration and influenced us very much. Entirely written on the System 100 by Roland, surely the peak of analogy and sophistication of synthesis.

3. Hans Zimmer – Interstellar – Main Theme
Hans Zimmer is by far one of the writers and producers we love, because of our affection to movies. Hans is an example of originality and modernity. Hans is surprising us and the world in general all the time with his works of wonder, his soundtracks is the source of inspiration for us in the musical aspect.

4. Jean Michel Jarre – Diva
When we take a general look at our album we can say that a big part of it was born thanks to Jean Michel Jarre, from the synthesis, music and color Jean presented from the mid 70’s, the year of his first concept album ‘Oxygen’ came out until today is something that is difficult to explain. Without no doubt Jean’s work was the most amazing thing that happened to electronic music right from writing his albums and the shocking live shows he created for the fist time, Jean puts a mark that will remain on this genre for ever.

5. Daft Punk – Contact
We always loved the groove Daft Punk create, their music is so light and full of aroma from the Disco age and the classical House from the 90’s. When Daft Punk releases their forth album “Random Access Memories” they literally blew our minds off, the sound of the album is very clean and clear, its the first time we heard such clearness in a while.

6. David Sylvian – Wonderlust
The mix between Pop and Ambient atmosphere that David Sylvian creates
in his music always been fascinating us. The instruments In this particular song like the Fender Rhodes piano, David uses to compose a smooth jazz piece that keeps you thrilled through the whole song.

7. Robert Wyatt – Sea Song
When it comes to darkness inside music, Sea Song does it great.
without no exaggerated synths sea song manage to pass on break beats and sometimes glimpse of exciting melodies, the lyrics touched us in a way and the atmosphere too.

8. Thomas Dolby – Hyperactive
This funky music that this guy make is full of groove, thanks to the synths that was the main instrument back then.
Every time we go back to his records makes us bounce our heads up and down.

9. The Flaming Lips – One More Robot/Sympathy 3000-21
You can say everything about this song, softness of a floating beat and an outstanding vocals.
The musical elements in this song goes pretty well together, the contrast between the main part and the other parts in the song works great. A great song that we love.

10. Tears for Fears – Sowing The Seeds Of Love
It’s a tribute song for the Beatles that closing our list by Tears for Fears in a unique production and vocal sounds. using revers reverb technique and a distinctive way of the song builds up, a good reference to the Beatles works.

Mintz – Pulse Of Our Planet (Exotic Refreshment)
After a stellar run of EPs and singles, Polish label Exotic Refreshment is proud to announce the release of a full length album from Mintz. Entitled ‘Pulse of Our Planet’ and due in January 2016, it is a stunning concept album made on analogue gear and featuring ten tracks of story telling house and techno.
Mintz is a duo made up of Eden Cohen and Rami Shalom from the northern pastoral lands of Israel. They have only been working together for just over a year but already have a fantastically formed sound that trips through ambient, electronica, deep house and techno. This new album is a fine example of that and talks about deep space and time in a very spacious sonic environment. After an absorbing intro that places you deep in outer space, ‘Shin Mun’ is a spiritual, deep and melodic groove that carries you through a starry night sky. ‘Mach 3’ is another spine tingler, with spaceship like pads and rumbling bass notes making for an increasingly involving ride. The title track is then a subtly uplifting affair with glassy drones and reflective synths raising spirits as they break out from the gloom at the mid point.
In to the second half of the album and you are lowered down into a spacious cosmic world on ‘One Twenty’ then tickled with tantalising chords, broody bass and slick pads on ‘Spitzer.’ Always bubbling whilst never boiling over, a great sense of balance and trance inducing melody flows right though the heart of this album with tracks like ‘La Pearle Noir’ and ‘Prism’. The last two pieces, ‘Titan’ and ‘Iron Side’ cook up absorbing neon patterns and multi-layered grooves that continue to suspend you in a space that is dark around the edges but glowing at the core. This is an absorbing album that is about tuning in and zoning out. It will make you dance in parts but is so detailed and full of narrative that it works just as well as an absorbing home listening experience.
