Matty Adams’ Festival Tips 2016: Part 2

We continue our guide to the best events of the summer…

By Matty Adams

What is your definition of a festival? If it is a chance to escape everyday normality, get away from the office and get lost in a world where nothing but the decibels plunging into your ears matters, then we, my friend, have something in common. Festivals are a form of escapism, an opportunity to adventure into another a realm. A realm with unpredictable, never-ending journey of your favourite music takes you out of this world and beyond. A realm where nothing but what happens of the dance floor matters, yes this, my friends, is our summer salvation. As well as being described as all of the above, festivals are also a way of life. A way in which we can express ourselves on the dance floor with our knee-high wellingtons and the amount of mud we can accumulate on our bodies through our dedication to the dance floor. It’s also a way in which we can support our favourite acts no matter how much rain decides to ruin our barnets (no that it matters, you’re not there to meet the love of your life, you are there for the music).

Whilst we know decision time may prove as difficult as choosing your partner’s engagement ring when deciding on what festival you wish to attend, you should have no troubles here with part two of my festival recommendations for 2016!
