Athens-born and bred artist Kósh serves up his first fantastic release on connected, and it features South African vocalist Lizwi. Kósh has been DJing for more than a decade. He was an esteemed resident at Branco in Mykonos where he has played alongside the likes of Guy Gerber, DJ Tennis and Pachanga Boys and spent last season in Tulum. This is his first proper release and it came together during lockdown with unique vocal input from Durban-based singer Lizwi. She has worked with many greats of the Afro House scene such as Themba, Vanco, Doug Gomez and Cee ElAssaad. Michael Jackson – Liberian Girl
To be honest, itʼs really hard for me to find a song by the king of pop and actually say that I donʼt like. It is also really hard to pick just one that stands out. This past year, ‘Liberian Girlʼ was one the these songs that I got reminded of again while walking around in Tulum and got inspired to make a version of mine so I could play it in my DJ sets. Itʼs one of these songs that everybody knows and will sing every time that itʼs being played.

Always being a sucker for love songs, through Lennyʼs lyrics and music I somehow always found my way of expressing myself. Being a 90s kid, this one was a must when wanting to dedicate a song to girl.
Snoop Dogg, Pharrell Williams, Uncle Charlie Wilson – Beautiful
I remember myself listening to this song back in 2002 when it came out and I remember how it could make me dream of all the summer-ish places any 10 year old boy could think of. Itʼs one of these songs that whenever you give it a listen, your vibes get lifted.

Kanye West – Flashing Lights
Master of the samples, Kanye West has managed to perfect the craft of sampling and make it sound so natural that only a few can really notice. I always found really interesting the way he is able to flip a sample and make it his own. Inspiring stuff.
Red Hot Chilli Peppers – Canʼt Stop
Rock music has always been by my side since I started my musical journey and RHCP was one of these bands that I simply couldnʼt get bored of them. I remember myself playing video games and listening to their albums on repeat. Itʼs the go-to genre of music and the go-to band I will always go back to when I am not working on my music.

‘Lovely Dayʼ is a song that immediately gives me visions what a good day means. Sunday morning. Sun is shining. A walk on the beach with your loved one. A sunset, maybe. All these simple but really meaningful things.
CHIC – I Want Your Love (Dimitri from Paris Remix)
8T35 minutes of pure ear pleasure. Respecting the original piece, this track is an example of how to make a remix of a classic and taking it to where it should be. Disco at itʼs best.
Prince – Kiss
Apart from the musical part of this one, which for me is insane, I always loved the message behind this song. Something that may seem pretty normal for us right now was something extremely controversial for the era that this it came out. Prince always had the way to deliver these and leave his mark on the music industry.
Daft Punk – One More Time
‘One More Timeʼ is most probably the first track that comes to my mind when thinking about good vibes and celebration. In my opinion, this is a track that can fit anybodyʼs DJ set despite the music they are playing and thatʼs extremely impressive and unique if you really think about it.
Black Coffee – You Are
Finally, I couldnʼt have had a top 10 without a song from my favourite artist. Black Coffee is the living example of starting from nothing to reaching the top of the world through passion, hard work and dedication. He is the guy I always look up to and get inspired to always keep on going.
