Tune
‘Riton feat. Kah-lo – Rince & Repeat’ – such a good tune; works well with the deeper crowd as with the commercial
crowd.
Album
‘French Kiwi Juice – Take Off EP’ – the talent that this producer has..
Remix
‘The Future Sound of London – ‘Papua New Guinea (Shadow Child Remix)’ – amazing remix of an old classic. The
drop contains so very few elements, yet it works.
Label
This Ain’t Bristol – continues to impress with sweet releases; you’ll always find a good few tunes in their promo
mail!
Breakthrough label
Heldeep – doesn’t really qualify as a 2016 breakthrough label I guess, but still good to see how much progress this
label made in 2016!
Producer
Billy Kenny – just an all-round great producer accompanied with a touch of weirdness, love it.
Festival
Wish Outdoor – one of the festivals where we hosted a stage this year; great organization, great festival.
Music Conference
ADE – not much to say here, ADE’s always good for a great week.
Radio Show
Mr. Belt & Wezol’s Music Club – shameless self-plug! Jokes aside though; we try to make a fine balance between
some of the deeper stuff and the more accessible stuff, go check it out if you haven’t already!
Mainstage DJ
Oliver Heldens – still great to see how Oliver performs his sets, such honesty in his shows!
Club
MYA in Valencia, Spain – we played there a few weeks ago; great club, located next to one of Valencia’s giant art
sculptures!
New Studio Equipment/Software
Not really that new but we recently got the Roland JP-08, which is a modern version of the old Jupiter
synthesizer and sounds quite sweet!
Personal highlight of 2016
This year we hosted our own stage at three festivals, which were great highlights! Also the release of our track
‘Hide & Seek’. It’s quite an experimental track when you compare it to our other stuff, so it was great to see that it
still had a lot of success online, and in the clubs.
Your ambition for 2017…
That’s easy; new music, new videos and seeing our fans during shows around the globe!
