3. Our previous label manager, Rob Wunderman, is the brother of a 1980’s pop star.
4. The Mix the Vibe compilation series is one of the most extensive and longest-running comp series in Dance Music and includes editions mixed by 2 Grammy Award winning producers Louie Vega and David Morales.
5. Before launching King Street, Label Owner Hisa Ishioka used to do door for some of the most exclusive clubs in NYC, including MK. Look it up! 🙂
6. At the time of his Mix The Vibe release, DJ/Producer Louie Vega performed with Elements of Life and Cirque Du Soleil for almost a BILLION people worldwide who sat down to watch Super Bowl XLI in 2007.
7. King St released Larry Levan’s FINAL recording aka ManFriday in 2006.
8. Current Label Manager Joe ‘joeB’ Berinato appeared as a featured extra on about 10 separate episodes of 90’s TV sitcom, A Different World.
9. Every King Street employee is currently or was a Cigarette Smoker, but they wont necessarily admit it.

12. In the late ’90’s Ultra Nate’s ‘Party Girl’ was played at The Bada Bing, the infamous strip club featured in the hit HBO drama series, The Sopranos.
13. King Street is accepting new applications for rodent patrol since our beloved office security kitty Pocahontas passed on about 9 months ago from breathing in too much toner. Can only imagine what that’s doing to the rest of us. May she rest in peace!
