Good album from fresh Wolf + Lamb artist Cameo Culture aka Dave Robertson that sees the producer write and arrange a most pleasing number of original tracks that refresh your faith in body and soul. Never afraid to wear its heart on its sleeve the music plays with all sorts of influences sometimes feeling Bluesy, something more akin to Deep House on ‘Told You So’ or even like a rush of ambience on ‘If (when)’. The almost low-fi quality of the production lends a certain authenticity to the proceedings while the restrained vocal deliveries provide their own reward.
