Dishevelled in a Prince-Jack Splash stupor slumping over his keyboard – sometimes paranoid, others just completely licked – where divas Fae and Ias Balaskas are the sights for sore eyes in the smoke-filled backroom, and Judd appears to give himself an adrenalin respite when ‘Agrozinger’ and particularly the gender-bending new wave pogo of ‘Death Doves & Love Angels’ bolt upright. On the whole, ‘Angel Sound’ is a possible euphemism for Jesse Hackett’s time spent funking with the fairies.
