Jay Haze’s latest under his equinely todgeresque alias plugs into house music’s central nervous system; heart, soul and bell-end all given a lift by this unashamed and brilliantly-executed one-man exercise in giving the often-abused style some deliriously-gorgeous melodic textures and grooves. Tracks like ‘I’m Burning Inside’ and ‘Real Love Is Forever’ manage to impregnate these euphoric surges with his usual twists but tracks like the piano-draped ‘A Pills Medley’ are just plain beautiful, leaving a lovely warm glow long after they’ve shot their load.
