‘Suicide Tuesday’ is a great name for a record that brings its fair share of punk attitude to a selection of beats majoring on breaks but not afraid to cast the net out a bit. It’s been described as ‘the night after the day before’, which is a nice spin on things, and if anything ups the full-on approach that made ‘We Control’ such a ballsy record. ‘Centre Attraction’ is a song that takes Adam Freeland’s lead from ‘We Want Your Soul’ and delivers a scorching attack on celebrity culture – well deserved! – while collaborators Leeroy Thornhill and Charlotte of the Subways bring more than useful guest slots. This is a full on set of mashed up sounds, Hyper’s second album making a powerful impact.
