You’ll be no stranger to King Biscuit Time, whether it’s through the phenomenal single ‘I Walk The Earth’, or from Steve Mason’s work with the mind blowing Beta Band, either way you know it’s all good stuff. The recent KBT singles ‘CIAM 15’ with it’s nod to dancehall, & the beautifully harmonized ‘Kwangchow’ are on ‘Black Gold’, alongside a whole host of new and exciting psychedelic songs that know how to groove. You can’t help thinking of The Beta Band when you listen to King Biscuit Time, after all Steve Mason was the lead vocalist & chief song writer. So the major label nightmare is in the past and now we can look forward to good times with King Biscuit Time, a sort of thinking man≠s Gorillaz with proper songs and a fantastic singer.
